Waar gaat The Valley over?
Tussen bossen en heuvels kronkelt de rivier de Ahr door een mystiek, mistig herfstlandschap. Temidden van deze idylle ontwaakt een man midden in een wijngaard. Hij weet niet wie hij is, waar hij is of hoe hij hier terecht is gekomen. Naast hem ligt een dode jonge vrouw tussen de wijnranken.
